The IAPP is a policy neutral, not-for-profit association founded in 2000 with a mission to define, promote and improve the professions of privacy, artificial intelligence governance and digital responsibility globally.
We are the largest association of our kind in the world, helping practitioners develop and advance their careers, and assisting companies and institutions in managing and protecting data.
We are committed to providing a forum for professionals to share best practices, track trends, network, advance management issues, earn certifications that validate their knowledge and skills, and provide guidance on career opportunities.
The IAPP offers the only globally trusted credentials in our fields: the Artificial Intelligence Governance Professional certification, Certified Information Privacy Professional, Certified Information Privacy Manager and Certified Information Privacy Technologist.
