Account and store purchases
We updated the portal experience in September 2025. If you have not signed in yet, please create a new username. To connect your pre-existing account details to your new login credentials, please enter the associated email address in the email address field.
It sounds like you may have more than one account. Please contact us and include any other email addresses you may have used with the IAPP in the past.
We can look into merging your multiple accounts. Simply contact us and include the email addresses associated with those accounts.
At this time, we only accept payments made by credit or debit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or Alipay within our store.
At this time, you must contact us for your order or purchase history.
Please contact us and include your order number for a PDF copy of your receipt.
You can find purchased products in your MyIAPP portal. If you are unable to find something, please contact us.

Certification

The Certification Maintenance Fee (CMF) is connected directly to your current certification term and satisfies the monetary requirement to keep your certification active for your full term. 
The annual IAPP membership covers the financial requirements for as long as you have an active membership. Membership also provides you with access to exclusive content, which makes earning your continuing professional education (CPE) credits a breeze. 
Please note that you need to have a CMF or an active membership for the entirety of your certification term. You do not need to purchase both.Â
There are two things that you must do during each two year term to keep your certification in good standing:Â
- Maintain continuous IAPP membership or purchase one CMF.
- Submit 20 CPEs by the end of your term's date.
Please contact us if you cannot determine the reason for your suspension, or if you have made updates to your CPEs or financial requirements and do not see the changes reflected in your account after 24 hours.Â
Keeping our customers’ personal data secure is a top priority. To limit the amount of your personal information that we share with third parties, we provide our address and phone number to Pearson VUE in place of yours. This is done for all IAPP exams and will not impact your ability to schedule or take your exam.
Membership
Due to current technical limitations that are being addressed, IAPP memberships begin on the first day of the nearest month. Please contact us to receive immediate access.Â
Conferences and events
You can stay on top of conference updates and upcoming events by subscribing to the Buzz Weekly newsletter.
Registration for a conference includes access to conference sessions, the exhibit hall and networking activities.
You can download the IAPP Events app from the Apple Store or Google Play Store. Conferences will automatically become visible in the app about one week before the event begins. If your event is not listed, please check back closer to the event date.
