IAPP refund policy
Information about the IAPP's refund and credit policies, as well as conference and training cancellation policies.
What you need to know:
- Print books, digital books and practice exams are not returnable after purchase.
- We do not give refunds, BUT, we do offer credits.
- You can use your credits on anything the IAPP offers, including membership, to books, conferences and more.
- It is easy to apply your credit. In fact, we will do it for you. Just call us.
- You have two full years to use your credit. But why wait when you have so many great ways to apply it.
Cancellations: Registration fees are not refundable. Registrants who contact us in writing prior to the end of the conference will receive a full IAPP account credit. Account credits can be used toward other IAPP conferences or products. They are valid for two years.
This cancellation policy applies for training and workshops associated with a conference.
No credits will be issued to delegates who do not check-in on-site and/or do not contact IAPP as stated above, and to the extent they have not yet paid the applicable registration fees, they will remain liable for payment in full.
Transfers: Replacement of a registered delegate by a colleague from the same company or institution is allowed upon review and approval by IAPP. Contact us to submit a registration transfer request in writing before the first day of the conference.
An executed registration form, online registration and email confirmation constitute a binding agreement between the parties.
What happens if you are unable to attend any in-person training:
- If you cannot attend and are able to notify us two weeks or more prior to training, we will provide a full credit toward any future IAPP purchases.
- If you cannot attend and less than two weeks remain before the training, you must contact our customer support team.
