Legal ethics is not a new idea, and the rules are (mostly) old. And like much of the law, they are lagging behind technology. They are primarily focused on litigation issues and small firms managing individual client funds. This session will take these rules and apply them to case studies in the privacy, cyber and artificial intelligence fields. Come participate in an active discussion of how to be a good lawyer on privacy and AI issues by staying consistent with the ethical rules.
What you will learn:
- Key issues to be considered as you give advice to new areas in privacy, cyber and AI fields.
- Where the existing rules create concerns.
- Learn where the gaps in legal ethics are to help guide your advice.
